“Great program! Our child participated in a 1 week camp for building, coding, and competing with Lego robots. It was a fun learning experience in a welcoming environment. Our child loved it and found it very rewarding. We recommend Code Wiz Rutherford wholeheartedly to anyone interested. Join a trial lesson and see for yourselves!”

“Code Wiz has been an outstanding experience for my 8 year old son. He has made incredible progress in Scratch, creating two unique and complex games that show a clear understanding of coding principles. My son is loving it - he tells me he doesn't want the Summer Camp to end. I highly recommend Code Wiz.”

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Not at all. Our camps are designed for beginners as well as more experienced students. We group kids by age and skill level, so everyone is appropriately challenged and supported..
-
No—this isn’t passive screen time. Students are actively building projects, working with instructors, and collaborating with peers throughout the day, with built-in breaks to stay refreshed and engaged.
-
Students aren’t just playing games—they’re building them. Each camp is structured around learning real coding concepts through hands-on projects, so kids leave with skills they can continue developing beyond camp.
-
That’s completely normal—most students come in not knowing anyone. Our small-group environment makes it easy for kids to connect, collaborate, and make new friends with similar interests.
-
Yes, we provide full flexibility. You can change your camp week up to 2 weeks before the camp start date (As long as there is availability)
-
Cancellations made two or more weeks prior to camp will receive a full refund, minus a 5% processing fee for refund to original payment method. Cancellations after that are non-refundable. However, credit back to your Code Wiz account is free of charge and will receive full refund to your account that you can use for future classes or camps.
-
We like to keep the camp size small to ensure individual attention that’s why our Coach to Student Ratio is 1:6
-
Just a positive attitude! We provide all equipment and materials. Please pack nut-free snack, lunch (for full-day campers), and a water bottle.
